Blaze the Fire Drake by Bad Dragon

Today, we're talking about about some dragon dick.
Now, I picked up this toy in the clearance/ready-made section of the Bad Dragon website. This is where you can find toys that Bad Dragon has already made, that are just waiting to be brought to a good home. Bad Dragon has a 'drop' every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1PM PDT where they make a bunch of ready made toys and 'flops' available for purchase (a flop is a toy that is discounted for a slight aesthetic flaw). Blaze had been on the quickly expanding list of BD toys that I was interested in, and when one popped up in a rogue iteration of his 'natural' coloration, with a suction cup, in a medium size and medium firmness - I snapped him up, real quick.
It has to be said, BD makes big toys. Like, real big. Had I not been quite so excited at the beauty sitting in my ticking-time-cart, I may have spent more time with the real size tool checking out Blaze's stats. That being said, I had looked them over, and I thought that I would be able to take it without a hitch. A medium-size Blaze 7.25 inches long from tip to tail; it has a usable length of 5.75 inches. This seemed reasonable. The diameter of the head is 1.68 inches, the diameter of the shaft is 2.4 inches. This is all very clear in the size tool. The circumference of the head is 5.25 inches, and the circumference of the shaft at its largest point is 7.5 inches. I hadn't totally grasped what circumference would feel like. I am learning that circumference is the best metric to estimate vag-feel.
Now after placing my order, waiting about a week, paying Canadian duties, and opening the box, I found that I didn't even immediately balk at Blaze's heft. I was too mesmerized by the delightful swirls of copper sparkle that ran through Blaze's orange and cream marble, and the deliciously squishy bounce of the silicone. The incredible crispness of each design element, from the slight crease underneath the coronal ridge to muscular bulges throughout the shaft, make Blaze, and all BD toys, a wonder to behold.
It was not until I finally took this dragon to bed that I realized the error of my hubris. The first time, even after two orgasms, and playing with two smaller toys, and quite a bit of lube, I could only take about half of this toy. What I mean, when I say this, is that if I pushed any further, I felt an abrupt tightness (duh) that felt surprisingly painful, and not at all flexible, not just something that I could push past. I found this experience surprising, I worried that I wouldn't even be able to get all of it inside. This was foolish. The next time I played with Blaze, after a warm up, I could take all of it, with some discomfort, and by the third time I could take all of it with pleasure, and so on. Turns out, the ability to take large things inside your vagina is largely a question of flexibility, not, of size, therefore any worry of 'looseness' is almost antithetical. The vagina gains a range of flexibility, without any fluctuation in its elasticity or 'tautness'; just because you can bend over and touch your toes does not mean that you no longer stand up straight. Ok, back to the review.
Blaze feels amazing to the touch, the silicone is matte and slightly draggy. The spongy yet firm density of the toy nearly mimics a human penis, but with more bounciness. A word on silicone density with BD toys: the larger and thicker a toy is, the more dense it will feel; the smaller or thinner the toy, and the more floppy/squishy it will feel. Blaze sports a pronounced head that is almost half the size of the largest part of its shaft. The glands at the top of the penis feel spongy and soft, the centre of this toy feels firm AF. This makes the first half of this toy a dream to insert; it spreads you open without any pinching or hardness. Once you reach the asymmetric bulge this translates into a breathtaking feeling of fullness. I found that slowly rocking my hips made taking the whole bulge easier. The centre of Blaze's shaft is blessed with a sizeable bulge that tapers at the base. This bulge holds the toy tight inside you as your vaginal opening tightens around the taper; I enjoyed this feature most when I was laying on my stomach, stimulating my vulva with one hand and periodically tapping or pushing the centre of the suction cup with the other. This put a yummy pressure against my g-spot.The other way I love using this toy is laying on my back, with my legs fairly close together, performing slow, downwardly angled thrusts. Many of BD's toys feature prominent bases. I love this, and I don't. This means, in the case of Blaze, that the toy stays in place fairly well while riding it, which I like because I prefer riding in bed, rather than on a chair or the floor. This also means there is a lot to grab onto while grinding or thrusting. I have fairly average sized hands, and especially with a little lube residue in the mix, I found the medium density a little hard to keep a handle on and would frequently need to adjust my grip while thrusting. I have another toy on its way that does not have a suction cup, and I'll see if that changes anything.
Overall, I love Blaze. I would give him an A grade. This toy is extremely well made. The silicone is luxurious and plush. The unique shape of Blaze's shaft offers quite a few satisfying ways to use this toy, depending on mood. This toy satisfies my craving to be filled and stretched, without bumping into my cervix. The head and swell of the shaft easily put pressure on my g-spot, while the swell also stimulated the bottom of my vaginal opening - which is my favourite damn thing. My orgasms with this toy are deep and powerful, but they do require a bit of work.
I definitely think a small size could have been filling and satisfying without requiring so much warm up. Likewise, I think a soft firmness, but medium size could have made it a more gentle introduction too.
I like Blaze best for longer play sessions, and his considerable girth is delicious after I've already cum once.
