Votan the Allosaurus by Bad Dragon

Bad Dragon's Votan

The first time I looked at the Bad Dragon site, I was most attracted to Votan. I was drawn to its meaty shaft, and triple coronal ridge, and its dimensions looked perfect. A small Votan is 7.85 inches tall, with 5.75 inches of insertable length. The tapered head has a circumference of 5.5 inches and a diameter of 1.7 inches. The shaft swells in a manageable way, with a circumference of 6 inches and a diameter of 2 inches. For my body, a two inch diameter on a toy leaves me feeling full without feeling stretched or sore.

After my extreme fondness for Blaze, whose review you can read here, I was quick to jump on Votan when it showed up in the drops a couple weeks later. Shipping was extremely prompt; it arrived at my door four days after I placed the order. Duties were around 25 CAD.

As with all Bad Dragon toys, Votan is gloriously well made, 100% body safe silicone, perfectly proportioned and so incredibly smooth. The rogue coloration I received is a deep oxblood with a violet shimmer that pops beautifully in sunlight. Unfortunately, that is where my affection for this toy ends.

For my needs, medium firmness in Votan is too flexible, especially where the head connects to the shaft. This section of the toy is narrow, relative to the rest of Votan's thickness and this flexibility causes the toy to bend just beneath the head quite easily, which makes applying any kind of pressure on the g-spot a little tricky. I didn't enjoy the triple-crested head as much as I anticipated, largely because it was tough to feel with the head bending so much. While I enjoyed the feeling of thrusting the toy's meaty middle, I preferred it when the swell in the shaft pointed towards my perineum. I wish that the coronal ridges on Votan's head were facing the same direction as the swell, and that the toy was thicker at its 'neck'.

Getting myself to climax with Votan was a bit tortuous. I would find a good angle, and stroke, only to loose it moments later. While I enjoy that kind of orgasm withholding play sometimes, I prefer to have a little more control when playing solo. My favourite feature was Votan's base; it is highly textured with dino-scale which makes it easier to grip onto.

Overall, I would give Votan a B grade. It is a very well made, high quality toy but I can't say that it does much for my vagina. Of course, vaginas may vary but I think there are some design adjustments that could greatly improve Votan.
